India has records 930 fresh deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count to 404,240.
The country recorded 43,733 new Coronavirus infections in a single day, pushing the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 30,663,665, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Wednesday.
The active number of Covid-19 cases in the country is 4,59,920 while 29,799,534 people have recovered from the virus so far.
So far, the world has reported 184,573,518 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic broke with 3,993,602 deaths. The US remains the worst-hit country, followed by India, Brazil, France and Russia.
