Srinagar: One policeman and a militant got injured in an ongoing gunfight between militants and the government forces in Srinagar’s Nowhatta area, the police said.
“In the ongoing encounter, one police personnel namely Ct Sarfaraz Ahmad R/O Batote Ramban got injured. He was evacuated to hospital for treatment. One terrorist also got injured,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
They further said that the searches in the area are still going on.
