A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) trooper died after falling off a building in Pandrethan area of Srinagar, officials said on Wednesday.
An official told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that constable Anuj Kumar of 151 Battalion, A/coy SSB fell from the building at Geology and Mining department in Pandrethan.
He said that the constable was shifted to hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
