Anti Corruption Bureau on Wednesday arrested an officer of Pahalgam Development Authority (PDA) for demanding and accepting bribe, sources said.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com- (KDC) that Anti Corruption Bureau received a complaint, wherein the complainant had alleged that Muzaffar Ahmad Dada, Executive Engineer, Pahalgam Development Authority, was demanding bribe of ₹20000 from complainant for releasing his payments for the work.
A trap team was constituted, which laid a successful trap and caught red-handed Muzaffar Ahmad, Executive Engineer, Pahalgam Development authority (PDA), District Anantnag while demanding and accepting bribe of ₹20000/- from the complainant in his file, they said.
The accused officer has been arrested on the spot by ACB team and further investigation is on, sources added. (KDC)
