Srinagar Police today arrested an accused involved in the hit-and-run case which led to the death of a person in the Chanapora area.
Police in a tweet said: “Accused in hit and run case namely Shakir Nazir Teli R/o Peerbagh Hyderpora arrested. He was driving this Scooty that hit a pedestrian namely Mohd Rafiq Rather in chanapura area, victim later succumbed to injuries in hospital.”
Police had already registered FIR no 59/22 U/S 279,337,304A IPC. (KNS)
