Kupwara: A health worker posted at COVID-19 designated hospital in Kupwara tested positive on Saturday for novel coronavirus, taking total number of positive cases to 46 in the district.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg told—news agency–Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a health worker from Gonipora Handwara has tested positive.
“The patient is already under isolation and primary contacts are being shifted to quarantine for sampling. All other samples for today including those from red zone Anderhama have tested negative,” he said.
Pretienlty, with fresh case total active cases for Kupwara stand at 38 now, with 8 recoveries so far while a total number of 46 people have tested positive in entire district with no fatality as on date
