Ehan and Econ, two Hip Hop artists of Kashmir who came together to chop on a song ‘’Rap Mangaan Rooh.’’ It Is a track of lyrical ability and tongue-twisting in simple terms, never once before this type of a song has been released by the artists of Kashmir, in recent years the Hip Hop scene has grown a lot in Kashmir, and now artists like Ehan Syed and Econ (Basit Mir) are showing great improvements and taking Hip Hop in Kashmir to a new level
Who is Ehan ?
Ehan Syed is a hip hop artist who started making music at the age of 13 after being inspired by the American rapper Eminem. Ehan expressed how music is an outlet for his emotions and how it helps him with his mental illness. He says ‘’ It’s my humble attempt to aware people that you can still be productive and contribute to society while being a little ill or mentally disturbed. ‘’
‘’My music is for the people who feel the same way as me and want to change for the greater good. ‘’
Ehan Syed is now 19, living in Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar and making Hip Hop and Pop music.

Who is Econ?
Basit Mir (Econ) also inspired by the American rapper Eminem, he started making music in his teenage and grew up listening to Hip Hop a lot, Econ is the first Kashmiri rapper to take his mother tongue “Koshur” (Kashmiri language) on the next level when he released his “Kashur” album. Econ was also inspired by his grandmother to write lyrics in Kashmiri, other than that Econ raps in Hindi and produces music too.
Basit Mir is now 19, living in Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar and making Hip Hop and Pop music
