SRINAGAR: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of JK Police died due to cardiac arrest in the Abi-Guzar area of Srinagar.
The ASI, identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, a resident of Karnah Kupwara, fell unconscious during duty at the Abi-Guzar area within the police jurisdiction of Kothibagh Friday afternoon.
He was promptly transferred to the PCR hospital for treatment; however, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. (KDC)
