Jammu: Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu on Friday paid rich tributes to the Central Reserve Police Force personnel who lost their lives in 2019 Pulwama Attack.
An official spokesman said that paying tribute to the CRPF personnel who made supreme sacrifice for upholding the sovereignty and integrity of the Nation, the Lt Governor observed that “the country is indebted to all these martyrs and will always remember their valour and sacrifice.” He also expressed solidarity with the families of the slain CRPF personnel.
The Lt Governor said that the CRPF and other Para-military Forces are playing a crucial role in combating militancy and ensuring safety and security of the people.
