A 40-year-old man died after he fell from a walnut tree in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday, officials said.
They said Mohammad Ayoub Mir son of Hidayaullah Mir fell off the tree in Nowgam Mawer area of the district this morning and was immediately shifted to NTPHC Nowgam.
However, he succumbed to the injuries, they added.
A police official confirmed his death to a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), and said that a case has been registered. (GNS)
