Srinagar: An unidentified militant was killed in a gunfight with security forces at Arwani area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday morning.
“Anantnag Encounter Update: 01 unidentified #terrorist killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow, ” a police spokesman said.
The encounter broke out in the early hours today after security forces cordoned the area following a tip off about the presence of militants there.
