Srinagar: Police on Tuesday claimed to have killed an unidentified militant in an ongoing encounter in Tulibal area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
“#SoporeEncounterUpdate: 01 terrorist killed. #Operation in progress. Further details shall follow, ” a police spokesman said.
Thr gunfight broke out in the wee hours today after security forces cordoned the area.
Earlier, another gunfight broke out in Tujjan area of Pulwama.
