SRINAGAR: Mufti Faizul Waheed, the Rajouri-born renowned Islamic scholar, who first translated the Quran into Gojri, is no more. He was 56.
Mufti was admitted to ASCOMS in Jammu in late May. For most of the time, he was on a ventilator. He died today.
Mufti was living in Bhathindi, Jammu. He was the Chief Mufti o Jamia Maariful Quran, Bhatindi.
