Pakistani woman found living with man she met on PUBG, held for entering India without valid visa

Officials said that the woman has been arrested from Mathura. Police had received a tip that a Pakistani woman named Seema Gauhar Khan was living with a man named Sachin (22) in the Rabupura area without any valid visa. The informer had also told the police that the woman was living with her four children. Further, Seema and Sachin became friends through the PUBG- battleground game.
“Police Station Rabupura had received information that a Pakistani woman was roaming with 4 children in Rabupura. As soon as we received information, a police team was immediately formed and with the help of local intelligence, electronic surveillance and beat policing, the police station Rabupura has traced the woman. She said that her name is Seema Ghulam Haider, who had come in contact with Sachin, a resident Rabupura, through PUBG game and had reached India via Nepal to live with him,” said Ashok Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Greater Noida.
After receiving information, the police tried to contact them. But they had fled the place. The police then formed a team, started a search operation, and arrested them.
Both of them are being questioned and other agencies have been informed about this, Kumar said, adding, “We are checking the documents of the woman to verify that if she has valid visa or she entered illegally in the country. Further details will be shared after the investigation.”
