Property worth lakhs was destroyed in a pre-dawn fire incident in the Soura area of Srinagar outskirts on Sunday.
A local news agency Kashmir News Trust reported that flames emanated from the office of ‘Builders Concept’ and before the fire could be controlled by firefighters, property worth lakhs turned into ashes.
The office building that is located on 90 Feet Soura Road is owned by Muzamil Ahmed Dar.
Police have registered a case to ascertain the cause of the fire.
Sources added that firefighters, local police, and natives managed to douse the fire and thus stop it from spreading to adjacent buildings. (KNT)
