Restrictions continue to curb public movement in J&K on 27 day of lockdown

Srinagar: Restrictions on people movement continue in Kashmir to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19 ) on 27 day of lockdown, announced by Prime Minister Narender Modi.

Security forces sealed off several roads and eracted barriers across the valley to enforce the lockdown.Police vehicles fitted with public address systems went around the residential areas requesting people to stay indoors.

Police also used drones in some parts of jammu and kashmir to minimise the movement of the people.

All Educational institutions across jammu and Kashmir and all public places, parks and restaurants have closed.

Government urged schools , colleges universities for online classes “but amid 2g Internet services we suffer a lot and we demand the restoration of 4g internet services,” students said.

Many NGO’s are working voluntarily to help the poor people in this pandemic as Covid 19 cases are increasing day by day in Kashmir.
