Sai Pallavi compares carnage shown in ‘Kashmir Files’ to lynching for cows, controversial statement created a ruckus
New Delhi: Sai Pallavi Compare Kashmir Pandit Genocide and Lynching For Cow Smuggling: A storm has erupted across the country on a statement by Sai Pallavi, the famous actress of South Cinema. Referring to Bollywood’s famous film Kashmir Files on the issue of violence and religion in a recent interview, the actress said.
This film shows how Kashmiri Pandits were murdered at that time. But beyond this, he said that if you look at the violence by connecting it with religion, then a few days ago a Muslim man carrying a truck full of cows was also beaten up and asked to shout slogans of Jai Shri Ram. What is the difference between these two events?
Sai Pallavi is busy these days promoting her upcoming film ‘Virat Parvam’. In this film, she has played the role of a wood who falls in love with a Naxalite. This Telugu language film is releasing in theaters on June 17. During the promotion of this, while answering the questions of the media, Sai has given this controversial statement.
“For me violence is wrong form of communication. Mine is a neutral family where they only taught to be a good human being. The oppress, however, should be protected. I don’t know who’s right & who’s wrong. If you are a good human being, you don’t feel one is right.”

In an interview to a YouTube channel, Sai was asked if she loves a Naxalite in the film, has she ever been associated with this ideology in real life. So he replied that – I am not in favor of anyone. But after this he talked about religion and violence on the pretext of Kashmir Files and said that whatever class is suppressed in the society, it should be protected, without any discrimination. Be it left-wing or right-wing.
In the same interview, Sai further said – The Kashmir Files showed how Kashmiri Pandits were killed at that time. If you are taking the issue as a religious conflict, there was a recent incident where a Muslim driver carrying cows was beaten up and forced to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’. So where is the difference between these two events, one from the past, and the other in the present?”
