Scooty rider dies in central Kashmir’s Kangan road accident
A scooty rider died after hit by a speeding truck in Kangan town of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The incident occurred at Kisanapati Ganiwan area, police sources said.
They said a truck (JK04F-3295) hit a scooty (JK16B-3357) rider leading to the death of the rider who has been identified as 28-year-old Ashiq Ahmed Raina son of Ghulam Muhammad, a resident of Mammar Kangan.
Dr Tanveer, who is posted at Primary Health Centre Ganiwan told a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust (KNT), that scooty rider was brought dead at the Centre.
Police, in this regard, have registered a case under relevant sections of law. The truck has been seized and the driver arrested. (KNT)
