Srinagar: Police on Monday identified the militant killed in Gussu area of Shalimar in Srinagar as Hafiz alias Hamza of Pakistan.
“He was involved in killing of 2 policemen in Bandipora & after this incident, he shifted to Harwan area of Srinagar,” IGP Kashmir said in a tweet.
Earlier, wanted Lashkar-e-Toiba militant Salem Parray was also killed in a brief shootout in the same area.
