Stray dogs injured 15 persons in Handwara

At least 15 persons including a teacher and two children were injured in stray dogs attack in north Kashmir’s Handwara on Thursday.

Locals sources told a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust (KNT), that stray dogs created panic in Gundchobutara Kralgund village of Handwara. They said that dogs attacked at least 15 persons who were shifted to District Hospital Handwara.

Sarpanch Naseer Ahmed Khan confirmed that 15 persons including a teacher and two children were taken to the hospital with dog bites. He said they are being treated.

Meanwhile, locals alleged that there are no anti-rabies vaccines in the hospital. (KNT)
