Three Teenage Sisters Charred to Death in Ramban Fire Mishap
SRINAGAR: Three teenage sisters were burnt to death in an overnight fire incident in the Ramsoo sub-division of Ramban district, a top official said on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner of Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, said that the fire occurred during the night in the Tajnihal area of Ukherhal tehsil, resulting in the death of three siblings. “Three sisters were sleeping on the third storey of the house, which caught fire during the night, and all of them were burnt alive.”
DC Ramban said that the house was also damaged in the incident. “Teams have been dispatched, and all possible assistance will be provided to the family.”
The deceased have been identified as 16-year-old Saniya, 14-year-old Bisma, and 12-year-old Saika, daughters of Abdul Latief Lone, a resident of Tajnihal. (KNO)
