Srinagar: A truck driver was killed after his truck collided with another truck at Mir Bazar area of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The driver of the truck died due to collision between two trucks near Al Stop, Mir Bazar area of Qazigund, reported wire service KNO.
“The truck driver died on the spot,” he said, adding that the driver of another truck fled from the spot.
He identified the deceased as Preetam Singh, 60, son of Harbasan Singh from Gurdaspora, Punjab.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations were taken up in this regard, a police officer said. (KNO)
