Two persons were injured in a road accident in Siligam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday evening, officials said.
They said that an accident took place at Siligam Aishmuqam near BED college in which one motorcycle carrying with two pillion rider was coming from Aishmuqam to Anantnag collided with parked Auto Load carrier at Siligam.
In the incident, two pillon riders got critically injured who have been identified as Faizan Mushtaq Dar son of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar resident of Seer Hamdan and Huzaif Riyaz Nangroo son of Riyaz Ahmad Nangroo resident of Khiram Srigufwara, they said.
They said that both were shifted to SDH seer where doctors refered them to GMC Anantnag.
In this regard case FIR No. 19 /23 U/S 279,337 RPC has been registered in police station Aishmuqam and further investigation is going on, they said. (KS)
