Srinagar: Two unidentified militants have been killed in the ongoing gunfight in Kulgam district of south Kashmir, police said.
A Jammu and Kashmir police officials confirmed that two unidentified militants were killed while the operation was still in progress.
A gunfight started between militants and the joint team of police and government forces in Chimmer area of Kulgam, the officials had said.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
