Srinagar: Minister of Food Processing Industries Shri. Pashupati Kumar Paras on Saturday launched NAFED and CEF an organic manure that is available in the market by name of the urban farmer and Apna Khaad for agricultural and horticulture use for better quality and organic growth of crops.
Recently NAFED and CEF has signed agreement with JKLWDA to process their lake weeds into high quality organic manure. As told by CEF and NAFED officials this organic manure is very rich in NPK and organic carbon and has a very good result on all kind of crops and plantations.
JP Singh from CEF was present to inform the important stake holders regarding the benefits of using this organic manure. “It will have a deep impact on environment as it will increase soil health and protect the environment from harmful chemical fertilizers,” JP said.
Feroz Hussain from CEF further told that they are now in process of making dealers and distributors supply this organic manure to all corners of the state to promote good agricultural practices and make the environment green and healthy.
