Deputy Commissioner Anantnag has placed under suspension Work Supervisor, PWD (R&B) Division Anantnag over alleged dereliction of duties.
“Pending enquiry into the alleged dereliction of duties, Sh. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Work Supervisor, PWD (R&B) Division, Anantnag is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect and attached with Executive Engineer, R&B Division, Anantnag (sic.)”.
“Additional Deputy Commissioner(s) shall conduct the inquiry and furnish a detailed report within 5 days positively” the order reads further. Pertinent to mention here that senior journalist Ahmad Ali Fayaz had sought intervention from the Lieutenant Governor’s office into the alleged dereliction of duties by the (now) suspended official.
